To all you readers,
It’s official. The day has finally arrived to throw back the curtains and unveil the fruitage of my sweat and toil. Time to cast off the cobwebs of doubt, quell the arrows of perfectionism, and silence the ceaseless dirge of ‘what-if’. In other words, I hit ‘publish’ and now my website is up and running.
I’m not going to use this website to bore you with my opinions. Nor will I spam you with the irrelevancies of the daily grind. And I won’t presume to offer you writing advice.
But if you’re looking to find tales of science fiction, be it novels, short stories, or something in between, then you’re in the right place.
My debut novel (New Yesterday) is just about ready to go. So keep your eyes peeled for updates on its release. You can read more about it on my ‘books’ page. I’m also busy tinkering with a couple of short stories that I’ll make available soon.
‘What’s that, Frasier? You’ve launched your website, in which you promise us science fiction to read, but none of it is available! What are you trying to pull?’
I hear you. So in the interest of fairness, here are a couple of poems to keep you going until my stories are strong enough to release into the wild. And you can always check out my September 2020 winning entry to the ‘Matt Cross Monthly Writing Competition’ (all the details are on my ‘books’ page).
Words are peculiar things. They’re precious, powerful, and bursting with limitless potential. They’re the paint that captures a moment, a feeling, a person — but what they need is a canvas. It’s a genuine pleasure to share my words with you, and I hope this website will help me do just that.
Your devoted sci-fi fan and writer,
Frasier
